Refund & Cancellation Policy

This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to all purchases and subscriptions made through Skinscanner LLC.
1. Digital Nature of the Service
- •Skinscanner provides a digital service that includes automated analysis of user-uploaded images and the generation of AI-based results and PDF reports.
- •Delivery of the digital service begins when a scan is started.
2. Definition of "Scan Started"
A scan is considered started when any of the following occurs:
- •an image is uploaded for analysis,
- •the analysis process is initiated,
- •an AI-generated result or report is created,
- •credits associated with a purchase are consumed.
Once a scan has started, the digital service is deemed delivered.
3. Refund Eligibility
You are eligible for a refund only if all of the following conditions are met:
- •no scan has been started,
- •no analysis or report has been generated,
- •the refund request is submitted within 7 days of the original purchase date,
- •the request is sent by email to [email protected].
If any scan has been started, no refund will be issued, except where required by applicable law.
4. Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds are not available for:
- •completed or initiated scans,
- •generated or downloaded reports,
- •partially used credits,
- •expired subscription credits,
- •user dissatisfaction with results,
- •incorrect uploads or poor image quality.
5. Technical Issues
If a verified technical issue on Skinscanner's side prevents delivery of the purchased service:
- •no refund is issued,
- •Skinscanner will provide a free rerun of the scan or an equivalent replacement.
6. Subscriptions and Cancellation
For subscription plans:
- •subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled,
- •cancellation can be made at any time,
- •cancellation becomes effective at the end of the current billing period,
- •unused credits expire at the end of each billing cycle,
- •no partial or prorated refunds are provided for unused time or credits.
7. Chargebacks and Abuse Prevention
Initiating a chargeback without first contacting Skinscanner may result in:
- •account suspension or termination,
- •loss of remaining credits,
- •denial of future service access.
We encourage users to contact us directly to resolve billing concerns.
8. Processing of Refunds
- •Approved refunds, where applicable, are processed using the original payment method and within a reasonable processing time, depending on the payment provider.
9. Legal Rights
- •This policy does not limit any mandatory consumer rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.
